Learn to live seasonally

Our seasonal weekends are a wealth of yoga classes, meditation and mindfulness, discussion sessions and healthy vegetarian seasonal food. Everything we include is tuned to the seasonal energy of the time of year to help you to synchronise your body clock and get back in the moment.  These weekend breaks are held in beautiful Glencoe Village.

STRAVAIGS wander without purpose

Our stravaigs are opportunities to socialise, relax, recharge and reboot. A chance to step out of your everyday life into the wild world of the mountains, gaining inspiration from being out in the elements, physically immersed with every step we take, weaving Yoga, mindfulness and Qi Gong into our days. Choose from easy-going wanders down the glen to high mountain experiences all led by a qualified mountain guide.

OUR VISION                                                              .

"The sense of space is something that my personal practice in Zen Yoga and Meditation has really opened up for me and the chance to able to share that through this series of adventures is really exciting for me.
Claire and I have planned these events so that you can come and take some time out from everyday life, come and explore with us, take time to turn in and look for your own space, your true and fundamental nature, whatever that might be. To practice here in the Highlands, out in the elements in this inspiring landscape is very important to me. It’s wild, invigorating and energising. Big enough to hold whatever we may need to bring to it – the highs and lows of our lives, the frustrations, dramas and tensions can all sit in this space. When we return from our adventures, we can be sure that our lives will be more purposeful, more worthwhile, carrying that sense of space forwards into our relationships, whether that’s work or family, we can really start to see things in new ways.
For me, yoga was never meant to be confined to a mat indoors in an overheated studio. What I learn in my physical practice provides the foundation for a more contemplative, conscious and lighter engagement with life. Practice is both outdoors and in, embracing the elements and living more in tune with the seasons and the environment. At the same time finding opportunities for evolution alongside others as a shared experience, for me, this is what working together with Claire on Wild Yoga Glencoe is all about.
We live surrounded by mountains and to be able to share this with others is a real privilege. Here in the Scottish Highlands we live in a big landscape; the highest mountains in the UK, the deep-sea lochs, the ever-changing skies and sense of wild space. Everything is here and we can’t wait to share it with you."
