About the Event
Learn more about how your breath works and how, as a runner, breath awareness can help increase your efficiency and stamina. Yoga pranayama teaches a series of breathing techniques that work with your diaphragm – probably one of the most neglected set of muscles in the body.
What you will learn:
· Basic anatomy about the mechanics of breathing
· The energetic benefits – both mental and physical of pranayama
· Some simple pranayama techniques focussing on developing diaphragmatic breathing.
To add to your comfort please bring along a blanket, rug and a cushion or yoga bolster to this class.
