About the Event

Olympic athletes are now using meditation as a powerful tool as part of their training programmes so why don’t you? This class will give an introduction to the general benefits of meditation and mindfulness for overall mental health and explore how adding mental training to your schedule can benefit athletic performance.

To add to your comfort please bring along a blanket, rug and a cushion or yoga bolster to this class.

What you will learn:

· The benefits of meditation and mindfulness for mental health

· Experience mindfulness exercises for runners

· A short meditation practice to use for training and events

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Please bring your own yoga mat and wear plenty of warm layers as the Yoga Zone is in an outdoor marquee. If you have your own props or blocks please bring them along. Some classes recommend specific kit so please read the class descriptions carefuly.

In the Yoga Zone tent outside the Ice Factor.

DO I NEED TO BE A YOGA EXPERT OR SUPER FIT?

Beginners to yoga are welcome to all the classes. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have injuries or medical conditions it would be useful for us to know about. You are not advised to participate in HIIT Yoga if you are in the early stages of pregnancy, do not exercise or are recovering from illness, injury or surgery.

Taking part in a Wild Yoga Glencoe event is done at the participants own risk. We encourage you to take full responsibility for yourself at all times. All yoga classes are taught by fully qualified & insured yoga instructors; slips, trips, falls ad injury might occur in a yoga class. The event hosts assume no responsibility for anyone attending this event. The event host will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any event or in connection with travel to such event, however caused.

When you book a Wild Yoga Glencoe event, you indicate that you accept these conditions, and accept that no legal liability is accepted by the event host should an accident or injury occur.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

The ticket price is fully refundable if Wild Yoga Glencoe have to cancel for whatever reason.

If you are unable to attend please let us know as soon as possible and we will attempt to fill your place. In this case you will receive a full refund minus an admin fee.In the event that we are unable to fill your place we are not able to refund your ticket.
