About the Event
Spring is a time for waking up, looking forward and preparing. As always we step into nature and connect with the atmosphere bringing all living things together, this season focusing on the wood element, new growth and our ‘dristi’ or direction, and on balance.
We come together on Friday in our remote little bothy by the loch meeting as evening beckons. Gather around the fire and learn about the energy of Spring Yoga and Qi Gong practices. Enjoy a tasty seasonal supper and spend the night together sharing experiences, reflecting on the flames. Enjoy a little outdoor relaxing yoga and meditation before bed.
Each morning we'll start with an outdoor yoga class to set us up for the day followed by a nutritious delicious breakfast together. Our day will be abundant with a variety of mindful activity - wandering by the loch or wild swimming in it, Qi Gong and meditation, time for journalling, and a light satisfying seasonal lunch. The area has a wealth of wildlife and stunning scenery for those interested in more ambitious walking or photography or just being alive in nature. Tea and cake in the afternoons with some private time to wander the area or do whatever takes your fancy.
Supper is around the table in the bothy, a meal shared and a relaxing evening yoga class to ready us for bed. In spring we celebrate the seasonal new year, waking up from our winter rest and embracing the uplifting energy of spring. On Sunday we leave after lunch with warm hearts and new friendships forged.
This is a deliberately small-scale female only experience limited to six spaces. Bothy events are fully catered with seasonal food and drink (no alcohol). You will need a sleeping bag, pillow and appropriate clothing. A full kit list is provided for you before the event. Bothy events are suitable for all levels of fitness and beginners to yoga are welcome as well as those looking to further their practice.
Meet at 6pm on Friday evening and finish at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
Please make sure you read the WILD YOGA GLENCOE TERMS & CONDITIONS before booking as by booking you agree to theses and our cancellation and return policy.
