About the Event
We meet and begin our journey into the amazing Coire Gabhail. Play with all the senses and choose to ford the burn in bare feet or hop across the stepping stones; take options to scramble over moss covered rocks and crawl beneath massive boulders. We will picnic at Buddha Rock and enjoy some Chi Qong or mindful walking. If you’re lucky you might spot a Golden Eagle or Red Deer so bring binoculars if you have them. Afterwards we will return to the village for a restorative Aerial Yoga class and of course, no day would be complete without tea and cake. You will leave invigorated, inspired and recharged. This stravaig requires a reasonable level of fitness, beginners to yoga are welcome. Walks will be on established paths but they may be rocky and uneven with steep drops.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Walking on rough and rocky paths with a steady climb into the valley. The route is mostly on well-made paths in beautiful scenery. It does involve rock steps and there are steep drops at the side of the path.
- Learn simple mindful, grounding practices that will connect you with the energy of the season.
- Experience wild yoga and chi gong in one of the most beautiful places in Glencoe.
- Time for quiet reflection and meditation.
- The opportunity to share your experiences, chat and connect with like-minded people.
- Lots of fresh air, exercise, great company, stunning scenery and of course, cake!
- A relaxing restorative aerial yoga class after our walk.
