About the Event
The season of winter is about rest and reflection. As nature hibernates, resting and repairing ahead of the new year, this is a perfect opportunity to turn inwards; to take time to rest body and mind and experience the natural gentle ebb and flow of life.
We will be looking at the yin practices of yoga which use slow flowing movements and supported poses held for longer period to access deep relaxation and the connective tissues of our bodies, targeting the muscles associated with the winter season.
Our day finishes with, you guessed it, tea and cake! You will leave with a new sense of what it really means to rest and reflect. This mini retreat is suitable for all levels of fitness and beginners to yoga are welcome as well as those looking to further their practice.
